Cottonwood Mansion Museum is a 19th century mansion rich in heritage and culture. As a charitable organization, Cottonwood relies heavily on the support of volunteers and its local communities to keep its doors open. Volunteer support is needed now more than ever in order for us to maintain stability and to remain a Haldimand treasure for years to come.

Embark on a journey through time and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of a country mansion from over 150 years ago. Throughout the day, you will have the chance to engage in a variety of authentic Victorian pastimes. Unleash your creativity while crafting Victorian arts and crafts, experience the charm of baking in the original kitchen, revel in the delightful entertainment of the era, and savor a scrumptious afternoon tea.

Surround yourself in historic romance at our ever-popular Valentine's Afternoon Tea at Cottonwood Mansion. Enjoy the live music by our talented Harpist while you enjoy a set menu of sandwiches, scones, and Valentine's themed treats with a selection of tea options including our signatures, the Cottonwood Heritage Blend and the Country Blueberry Blend! This event concludes with an historic house tour of the mansion and the opportunity to visit our Gift Shop.

This event is approximately 2 hours in length. The mansion is accessible on the first floor only. Children 12 and under have the option of ordering juice or hot chocolate in lieu of tea.
Seating begins 10 minutes prior to your time slot.

Do you ever wonder how Victorians communicated with spirits? This Victorian-inspired Public Paranormal Investigation event runs in partnership with Spirit Hunters Ontario, and allows guests to form a deeper connection with the 19th Century heritage site and its spirits.
This event is exclusively offered during Spring 2025, and spaces are limited. Ages 15+ only. By purchasing a ticket, guests agree to be on camera while on site. Please note no technology will be permitted during this event, including cellphones.
