Make Unforgettable Memories
Throughout the day, you will have the chance to engage in a variety of authentic Victorian pastimes. Unleash your creativity while crafting Victorian arts and crafts, experience the charm of baking in the original kitchen, revel in the delightful entertainment of the era, handle original 19th century materials with a white-glove experience, and savour a scrumptious afternoon tea.
Our ultimate goal is for you to depart feeling as if you have spent the day alongside the Holmes family, engaging in their leisure activities and experiencing the authentic ambiance of Cottonwood's meticulously recreated spaces. Every detail, from our staff's period costumes to the use of genuine materials, has been carefully curated to ensure an unparalleled level of authenticity.

Experiences run from 11:00 am until approximately 3:00 pm, and guests are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 10:45 am.
Activities are subject to change based on seasonal themes and materials. This allows us to re-invent each experience; no two are the same.
The Afternoon Tea component includes a set menu of tea sandwiches, scones, desserts and tea. Cottonwood Mansion will try to honour dietary restrictions if requests are made upon booking.

The Victorians were known for their sustainable practices, and we have incorporated their self-sufficiency into this experience to promote environmental stewardship. Witness how they grew and produced their own food, repurposed materials, and avoided waste and take part in these practices throughout your time with us.
We partner with local small businesses to bring you the best of the county. We source from Concession Road Brewery, Monarch Tea Co., Carluke Orchards, Concession Road Garden, and Windmill Country Market.
