With 15 rooms and over 6,000 square feet, it now operates as a vibrant house museum offering tours, programs, events, weddings, and rentals. Have you ever been interested in learning how to read your tea leaves? If you’re feeling ready to take on the challenge, then come join us at the mansion for an afternoon of tea, tasseography, and historic tours.

Start off enjoying some time drinking tea, tasting some sweet treats, and catching up with either old friends and family! Once you are all done, you will be guided through the process of how to read your tea leaves at the bottom of your tea cup, gaining insight into your life, future and subconcious. Followed by a guided tour of Cottonwood Mansion, this will be a perfect blend of history, gathering, and realization.

Please note, there will be no individual to read your tea leaves, just you! This is a guided, learning experience for all.

Embark on a journey through time and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of a country mansion from over 150 years ago. Throughout the day, you will have the chance to engage in a variety of authentic Victorian pastimes. Unleash your creativity while crafting Victorian arts and crafts, experience the charm of baking in the original kitchen, revel in the delightful entertainment of the era, and savour a scrumptious afternoon tea.

As a charitable organization, Cottonwood relies heavily on the support of volunteers and its local communities to keep its doors open. Volunteer support is needed now more than ever in order for us to maintain stability and to remain a Haldimand treasure for years to come.
