Weddings at Cottonwood Mansion
Looking for a stunningly unique and remote wedding venue? Look no further than Cottonwood Mansion Museum. Cottonwood Mansion is an 1870, 6,000 square foot, 15-room mansion in the Italianate and Georgian styles, located in the rural community of Selkirk, Ontario. Now a working house museum, the charm of antiquity surrounds you in this unique and beautiful space. The mansion is situated on over 3 acres of green space, including a large gazebo and pastoral views. The mansion offers 5 unique event spaces, both indoors and out, for your intimate wedding ceremony and reception.
Newly Renovated Music Room: Our beautiful light pink music room is a stunning ceremony or reception space that can fit up to 50 guests (up to 35 guests for receptions). The floor-to-ceiling bay window with exterior views of the gardens makes for the perfect altar location.
Dining Room: Our moody dining room is equipped with stunning furnishings to make your event stand-out. This indoor location is well-suited for intimate receptions of up to 30 guests. Conveniently located next to the working kitchen.
Bridal Suite: This large bridal suite space on the second floor is a beautiful location to get ready for your special day. Equipped with stunning views of the grounds and a full body mirror, and you'll make your entrance walking down the spiral staircase.
Gazebo: Our gazebo is situated away from the road and looks towards the pastoral views of the countryside. It is equipped with electric outlets, a wheelchair ramp, and has plenty of space to seat up to 50 guests.
Mansion Grounds: Cottonwood has plenty of space for large outdoor tents for your ceremony or reception needs. The grounds are fully accessible and your rental includes washroom trailers with an accessible washroom. The grounds can easily accommodate plenty of parking.
