Cottonwood Mansion Museum is a 19th century mansion rich in heritage and culture. As a charitable organization, Cottonwood relies heavily on the support of volunteers and its local communities to keep its doors open. Volunteer support is needed now more than ever in order for us to maintain stability and to remain a Haldimand treasure for years to come.

Upcoming events at Cottonwood
Explore the magic of Cottonwood during the Holiday Season with Cottonwood by Candlelight tours! Your costumed host will guide you through the mansion by candlelight. See Cottonwood all dressed up for the holidays and learn about Victorian Christmas traditions. This event concludes with hot apple cider, Christmas cookies, and time in Cottonwood's Gift Shop.
We will be gathering toys for local families in need again this year! Please note that on November 15th, 22nd, and December 6th in lieu of a ticket cost, we are accepting new, unopened toys for children ages 3-13 with a value of $15 or more. these donations will be made to City Kidz to support their amazing work in helping those in need. Throughout the day, you will have the chance to engage in a variety of authentic Victorian pastimes. Unleash your creativity while crafting Victorian arts and crafts, experience the charm of baking in the original kitchen, revel in the delightful entertainment of the era, and savor a scrumptious afternoon tea.

A favourite among our visitors, our Christmas Afternoon Teas are back for 2024! Enjoy a delightfully festive Afternoon Tea of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, delicious holiday desserts, and your choice of teas of course! This event concludes with a tour of the mansion all dressed up for the holidays, and time in our Gift Shop.
